Sustainability
Sustainability at Kadoo
For Kadoo, sustainability is not an option but the foundation. Kadoo transforms materials that would otherwise harm the environment – such as old fishing nets, PET bottles, carpet remnants, and industrial waste – into high-quality activewear.
Each piece is created in Bali in close collaboration with local partners, produced in small batches and under fair working conditions. This way, Kadoo avoids overproduction and creates favorites designed to last.
Materials
Kadoo uses REPREVE® for the production of its activewear, a high-performance fiber made from recycled waste such as old fishing nets, PET bottles, carpet remnants, and industrial waste. The activewear consists of 77% REPREVE® nylon and 23% elastane. The result is a breathable, soft fabric that feels like cotton, provides gentle support, and reliably wicks away moisture.
All fabrics are certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. They stand for tested quality, skin-friendliness, and safety.
The ECONYL® Journey:

Zero-Waste Packaging
Kadoo ships its activewear plastic-free in sturdy cardboard boxes without unnecessary filler material. The tags are attached with a hemp string, and all packaging is recyclable and can be disposed of with paper waste.

The Promise
Kadoo stands for activewear that not only looks good and feels ultra-soft, but also takes responsibility for people, the oceans, and the planet.
