What materials are used for the swimwear?

The swimwear is made from ECONYL® regenerated nylon – a premium fiber created from recycled nylon waste, including discarded carpets, industrial plastics, and old fishing nets. The material consists of 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% elastane, offering durability, elasticity, and a smooth, comfortable feel.

What materials are used for the activewear?

For its activewear, Kadoo uses REPREVE®, a high-performance fiber made from recycled waste such as old fishing nets, PET bottles, carpet scraps, and industrial waste. The activewear consists of 77% REPREVE® nylon and 23% elastane. The result is a breathable, soft material that feels like cotton, provides gentle support, and reliably wicks away moisture.

All fabrics meet the requirements of the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

Where is the clothing made?

The swimwear and activewear are ethically produced in Bali, Indonesia. Kadoo works with trusted production partners who guarantee fair wages, safe working conditions, and high-quality craftsmanship.

How do I care for my swimwear?

To keep your swimwear in the best condition:

  • Gently hand wash in cold water with mild detergent.
  • Dry in the shade – avoid direct sunlight and tumble dryers.
  • Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, or fabric softeners.

How do I care for my activewear?

To keep your activewear in its best shape:

  • Hand wash only.
  • Machine washing is not recommended.
  • Do not apply detergent directly to the garment.
  • Dry-cleaning methods are not recommended.
  • Steam irons should only be used with caution, as they can damage the fabric and shorten its lifespan.

Orders

Can I change or cancel my order?

If something has changed or there was an error in your order, Kadoo will be happy to help you as long as the package has not yet been shipped.

Please contact Kadoo as soon as possible via the contact form to request a change or cancellation.

If your order has already been prepared for shipping, cancellation is unfortunately no longer possible. In this case, you can simply refuse acceptance of the delivery. Once the package has arrived back at Kadoo, the purchase amount will be refunded.

Does Kadoo offer gift cards?

Yes – Kadoo offers digital gift cards for conscious gifting. If you’re unsure which product to choose, a gift card is a great way to let your loved one decide. The gift card can be used for any online purchase at www.kadoo-bali.com. After purchase, the gift card will be sent by email as a PDF. You can print it out or forward it digitally.

How can I submit a complaint?

Kadoo takes complaints seriously and strives to find a fair solution. Please submit your complaint via the contact form. Include your order number, a short description of the problem, and photos if possible. Once received, Kadoo will review your case and get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I exchange an item?

Kadoo does not offer direct exchanges. However, you can return the item and place a new order for the product you want.

Simply send us an email at hello@kadoo-bali.com with the following details:

  • Order number (e.g., #123456)
  • Item you want to return
  • Reason for return

Returns are possible within 14 days of receipt. You will receive a return label and all further information by email.

Important: If you placed your order through a marketplace (e.g., AboutYou, OTTO, Limango, or others), returns and exchanges must be handled directly through their customer service.

Which payment methods does Kadoo offer?

  • Kadoo offers the following payment methods:
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro)
  • Apple Pay
  • Instant bank transfer (Klarna) – direct bank payment
  • Invoice purchase (Klarna) – buy now, pay later (availability may vary by country)

How do I use discount codes?

You can enter your discount code during checkout. Simply use the “Discount code” field at the end of your order.

Make sure to enter the code exactly as received – including capitalization.

Note: Community offers such as newsletter discounts apply exclusively on www.kadoo-bali.com and cannot be used for orders placed via marketplaces (e.g., AboutYou, OTTO, Limango).

Where does Kadoo ship?

Kadoo ships exclusively within the European Union.

Kadoo delivers to:

  • Germany and Austria
  • All other EU member states, including Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Note: Express shipping is not available.

How long does shipping take?

Delivery time depends on the destination country:

  • Germany & Austria: 2–3 business days
  • Other EU countries: 3–7 business days

As soon as your order is on its way, you will receive a tracking link.

My package is missing – what now?

If your order is marked as delivered but has not arrived, Kadoo will be happy to help. Please first check if the package was delivered to neighbors or housemates. Often it is accepted nearby or left in a safe place.

If the package cannot be found, simply send a support request via the contact form. Kadoo will contact the shipping provider and work with you to find a quick and fair solution. You can also reach us at hello@kadoo-bali.com.

Germany & Austria:

  • Free shipping for orders over €80
  • €4.95 shipping cost for orders under €80

Other EU countries:

  • Free shipping for orders over €100
  • €9.95 shipping cost for orders under €100

Returns & Refunds

How do I return an item?

You can return an item to Kadoo within 14 days of receipt. The item must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition.

To start a return:

Simply send us an email at hello@kadoo-bali.com with the following details:

  • Order number (e.g., #1234)
  • Item you want to return
  • Reason for return

Returns are possible within 14 days of receipt. You will receive a return label and further information by email.

The return is handled according to Kadoo’s return policy.

How much does a return cost?

Returns from Austria and Germany: €4.95 return fee, deducted from the refund. Returns from other EU countries: €9.95 return fee, deducted from the refund.

When and how will I receive my refund?

As soon as your return has arrived at Kadoo’s warehouse and been checked, the amount will be refunded via the original payment method. This usually takes no longer than 14 days after receipt of the return. You will receive an email once the refund has been processed. If it takes longer, you can contact Kadoo anytime – we’re happy to help.

How much time do I have to return an item?

You have 14 days from receipt to return items.

What does Kadoo stand for?

Kadoo stands for premium activewear that gives you more than just an outfit. Each piece lets you move freely, provides security in every pose, and feels ultrasoft like a second skin. The collections are created in Bali from recycled materials such as old fishing nets and PET bottles and are produced in small batches under fair conditions with great attention to detail. The result is long-lasting favorites that look new even after frequent wear. They bring you a touch of Bali vibe every day.

Who is behind Kadoo?

Kadoo was founded in 2024 by Sandra Kolarik and Patrick Tomelitsch. Both have strong ties to Bali and launched the brand after a formative stay there: on the beaches and in the oceans, they experienced first-hand the plastic waste problem. From this experience, the shared vision was born to create fashion that not only looks good but is also consciously and fairly produced from recycled materials. Sandra and Patrick also regularly take part in local clean-up activities in Bali.

How is Kadoo’s fashion produced – and why does it matter?

Kadoo’s collections are created in collaboration with selected partners in Bali who specialize in ethical and eco-conscious production. Each collection is crafted in small batches with great attention to detail – supporting fair working conditions and avoiding overproduction. From design to delivery, every step follows circular economy principles: resource-friendly materials, mindful quantities, and biodegradable, plastic-free packaging.

Does Kadoo use plastic-free packaging?

Kadoo ships activewear plastic-free in sturdy cardboard boxes without unnecessary filler. Labels are attached with hemp cord, and all packaging is recyclable and can be disposed of with paper waste.

What makes the swimwear sustainable?

How can I return an item purchased through a marketplace?

If you purchased an item via a marketplace such as AboutYou, OTTO, Limango, or others, returns must be handled directly through the respective marketplace.

The entire process – from the return label to the refund – is managed by their customer service.

Please follow the return instructions provided in your order confirmation or in your customer account on the respective marketplace.
