The Origin Story

Kadoo was founded in 2024 by Sandra Kolarik and Patrick Tomelitsch after a formative stay in Bali. On the beaches and in the ocean, they witnessed firsthand the plastic waste problem. Both are deeply connected to Bali and regularly take part in local clean-up initiatives. Their shared vision: to create fashion that not only looks good but is also consciously and fairly produced in Bali from recycled materials.

Sustainable Materials

The collections are made from recycled materials such as old fishing nets and PET bottles, and are produced in Bali in small batches under fair conditions and in close collaboration with local artisans. This creates favorite pieces that not only feel like a second skin and fit reliably, but also feel as good as new even after frequent wear.
