Terms and Conditions KADOO Giveaway "Trip to Bali"
1. Organizer
The organizer of the giveaway is:

(hereinafter referred to as “KADOO”)
2. Participation Period
The giveaway runs from 01/04/2026, 00:00 CET until 31/08/2026, 23:59 CET.
Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
Natural persons aged 18 years or older with residence in a Member State of the European Union are eligible to participate.
Excluded from participation are:
- employees of KADOO,
- persons involved in the organization or execution of the giveaway,
- and their respective relatives.
KADOO reserves the right to exclude participants from the giveaway in the event of violations of these terms and conditions or attempts at manipulation.
4.1 Participation Through Purchase
Participants receive entries for the giveaway through a qualifying order placed in the KADOO online shop.
Requirements:
- Minimum order value: EUR 135 after deduction of discounts and returns.
Entries are allocated as follows:
- from a final order value of EUR 135: one (1) entry,
- from a final order value of EUR 240: two (2) entries.
Each eligible person may receive a maximum of three (3) entries regardless of the purchase of products.
4.2 Returns and Loss of Entries
If an order is returned in whole or in part, the number of entries granted through the purchase participation will be recalculated according to the final order value.
If the final order value:
- falls below EUR 240, the number of entries granted through purchase participation is reduced to one (1) entry,
- falls below EUR 135, all entries granted through purchase participation are forfeited in full.
4.3 Alternative Participation Method
Participation in the giveaway is also possible free of charge.
For this purpose, an e-mail with the subject line:
“KADOO BALI ESCAPE”
must be sent to the following address within the participation period:
hello@kadoo-bali.com
The e-mail must contain the following information:
- first and last name,
- full address,
- e-mail address.
A maximum of three (3) entries per person may be obtained through the free participation method. A separate e-mail must be sent for each entry.
4.4 Voluntary Social Media Contributions
Participants who have already validly entered the giveaway may receive one additional bonus entry.
Requirements are:
- following the official KADOO Instagram account: @kadoo.bali,
- publishing an Instagram story featuring a KADOO product,
- and tagging the account @kadoobali.
In addition, the e-mail address used for the purchase or participation must be sent to KADOO via Instagram direct message so that participation can be clearly assigned.
A maximum of one (1) social media bonus entry may be granted per person.
KADOO reserves the right not to consider contributions that violate legal provisions, platform guidelines, or involve abusive behavior.
Publishing the story is voluntary. Participants are themselves responsible for compliance with any applicable labeling obligations under advertising and media law. The story must be marked as advertising where legally required.
As part of voluntary social media activities, an association between the Instagram account and the e-mail address may take place.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and, with regard to voluntary social media interactions, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
When using Instagram, data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. may occur. Further information can be found in Meta’s privacy policies.
Alternatively, the bonus entry may also be requested without publishing a story by sending an informal e-mail with the subject line “BONUS ENTRY” to hello@kadoo-bali.com.
5.1 Prize
The prize includes:
- one economy-class round-trip flight for one person to Denpasar (Bali),
- seven (7) consecutive nights at Villa KADOO in November 2026,
- airport transfer between Denpasar Airport and Villa KADOO,
- as well as shared use of Villa KADOO by the winner and one accompanying person.
The approximate total value of the prize is approx. EUR 5,000.
The specific travel period will be coordinated individually with KADOO. The winner may freely choose one week within November 2026, subject to actual availability and organizational coordination.
An extension of the stay at Villa KADOO is possible upon prior agreement and subject to availability at the winner’s own expense.
Important notice: The flight is included in the prize exclusively for the winner.
The accompanying person is solely responsible for:
- organizing and covering the costs of their own flight,
- as well as all additional travel services and incidental expenses.
Both the winner and the accompanying person are themselves responsible for all costs and services not expressly stated as part of the prize.
This includes in particular:
- food expenses,
- valid travel documents,
- passport,
- visas,
- entry requirements,
- travel insurance,
- health requirements,
- personal expenses,
- baggage fees,
- vaccinations,
- as well as compliance with all official regulations.
KADOO assumes no costs or liability in this regard.
KADOO owes exclusively the individual services expressly stated in the prize.
This is not a package holiday within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
KADOO does not act as a tour operator. The prize constitutes a gratuitous prize award. No package holiday for consideration is offered.
5.2 Flight Conditions
KADOO bears the cost of the flight and arranges the booking in the name of the winner.
The outbound and return flights shall take place between an international airport selected by KADOO in Austria, Germany, or a neighboring EU Member State and Denpasar (Bali).
The return flight shall generally take place from and to the same airport used for the outbound flight.
The selection of the specific departure airport shall be made by KADOO taking into account an economically reasonable flight connection.
The flight may include stopovers at international transit airports or hubs (e.g. Dubai, Doha, Istanbul).
KADOO reserves the right to select:
- the airline,
- the flight connection,
- the travel route,
- the transit countries,
- as well as the flight times.
The flight service will be provided exclusively in economy class.
There is no entitlement to:
- a specific airport,
- a specific airline,
- a direct flight,
- or a higher transport class.
If the winner’s place of residence is not located in close proximity to a suitable international departure airport, the costs of travel to and from the respective departure airport shall be borne by the winner.
Flights from airports whose connection would be economically unreasonable are excluded.
6. Selection of the Winner
The winner shall be determined by random selection among all valid entries after the end of the giveaway.
The drawing may be conducted publicly, in particular via live social media formats.
The winner will additionally be notified by e-mail using the address provided during participation.
If the winner does not respond within seven (7) calendar days after notification, KADOO is entitled to determine a replacement winner.
7.1 Prize Conditions
The prize is neither transferable nor exchangeable.
Cash payment of the prize or payment of any residual value is excluded.
The prize must be redeemed within the travel period specified by KADOO (November 2026).
The winner is solely responsible for:
- possession of valid travel documents,
- passport,
- obtaining required visas,
- compliance with all entry requirements,
- health requirements,
- obtaining appropriate travel insurance,
- and other personal travel requirements.
The conclusion of international travel insurance, health insurance, and trip cancellation insurance is expressly recommended.
The winner is obliged to independently inform themselves about the entry requirements and the applicable laws of the destination country.
7.2 Failure to Commence the Trip
If the winner is unable to commence the trip for reasons that lie exclusively within their personal sphere, the entitlement to the prize shall lapse.
There is no entitlement to cash compensation.
8. Force Majeure and Travel Restrictions
If the trip cannot be carried out or cannot reasonably be carried out due to force majeure or extraordinary circumstances, in particular due to:
- war or war-like acts,
- threat of terrorism,
- political unrest,
- pandemics,
- natural disasters,
- governmental travel restrictions,
- international sanctions,
- security warnings,
- flight cancellations,
- entry bans,
- or airspace closures,
KADOO is entitled:
- to adjust the travel period,
- to change individual travel components,
- or to offer an appropriate alternative date,
insofar as this is economically and organizationally reasonable.
There is no entitlement to cash compensation.
If the implementation of the trip becomes permanently impossible or economically unreasonable, KADOO may offer an appropriate substitute prize instead of the trip.
9. Liability
KADOO shall have unlimited liability in cases of intent, gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
In the event of negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, KADOO shall only be liable for foreseeable damages typical for the contract.
Otherwise, KADOO’s liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
In particular, KADOO shall not be liable for:
- disruptions caused by airlines,
- delays,
- flight cancellations,
- baggage loss,
- services provided by third parties,
- governmental measures,
- or security situations in transit or destination countries.
KADOO is entitled to adjust flight connections, transit countries, travel periods, or individual travel components if this appears necessary or reasonable due to governmental recommendations, security situations, geopolitical developments, airspace closures, or comparable circumstances.
There is no entitlement to the implementation of the trip via specific transit states or flight routes.
10. Data Protection

The personal data collected within the scope of the giveaway shall be processed exclusively:
- for the implementation of the giveaway,
- for determining the winner,
- for contacting winners,
- and for preventing misuse.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
The data shall only be stored for as long as necessary for the implementation and handling of the giveaway or as long as statutory retention obligations exist.
Participants have the right at any time to:
- access,
- rectification,
- erasure,
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Where processing is based on consent, such consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
The competent supervisory authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
Personal data shall only be disclosed insofar as this is necessary for the implementation and handling of the giveaway or the prize, in particular to airlines, accommodation providers, or transfer service providers.
The provision of the requested personal data is required for participation in the giveaway. Participation is not possible without this data.

11. Instagram Notice
This giveaway is in no way connected to Instagram or Meta and is neither sponsored, supported, nor organized by them.
By participating, participants release Instagram and Meta from all claims related to this giveaway.
The recipient of the information provided is exclusively KADOO.
12. Changes or Termination of the Giveaway
KADOO reserves the right to adapt, suspend, or prematurely terminate the giveaway for objectively justified reasons, insofar as this is necessary and reasonable for participants.
This applies in particular in cases of:
- technical problems,
- manipulation,
- legal changes,
- governmental measures,
- security risks,
- or other circumstances beyond KADOO’s control.
13. Applicable Law
Austrian law shall apply excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which the participant has their habitual residence shall remain unaffected.
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
14. Legal Recourse
Legal recourse regarding the conduct of the drawing and the determination of the winner is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
